For the art auction, Heather created: Candy Paint
As she explains, “My chair titled Candy Paint refers to the use of metallic colour and varnish on its surface. This piece was done in black, white, and copper acrylic. Painted to resemble a high-gloss automobile finish, this rickety chair has consistent layers of translucent metallics over a dark base.”
You can pre-view Candy Paint and the other art objects created for the auction at the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery at St Lawrence College April 16-20.
The CHAIR-ity LIVE auction is Friday, April 20th at 7pm.
