For the auction, Maureen created: A Chair Not For Sitting
About her process, Maureen explains:
I use artistic language to open the field of perception, getting to the essence of things. Since colours resonate with their matching musical scales, I listen to the colours as I paint. This helps me distil outer surfaces into simple forms that cross the boundaries of the imagination.”

A Chair Not For Sitting and the other art objects created for the auction are on display at the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery at St Lawrence College April 16-20.

The CHAIR-ity LIVE auction is April 20th at 7pm.

Space is limited; get your tickets early!
Tickets available through snapd tickets online or at the door.
