June 2, 2018 2:00 am - 4:00 am
Court House Lodge
7, Court House Square
I will be holding another Music Theory Clinic at Court House Lodge.
In Blues Theory we will do a quick review of Diatonic Theory.
You will gain an understanding of both Dominant and Minor Blues.
You will learn to navigate an improvisation using various blues scales.
We will explore essential blues grooves and expand your chord vocabulary.
Understanding blues is not for “Blues” players. You will gain the fundamentals of how scales and chords relate on the fretboard beyond diatonic chord progressions used in all genres of music.
I have taught this clinic many times (probably 50 or more) while I was an instructor at the National Guitar Workshop.
Phase 1 and 2 are recommended by not necessary. If you are able to play a major scale and you know how to play a 1-4-5 chord progression in various keys with barre-chords this clinic will get you to the next level.
I am limiting enrollment to 15 people.
So I will require payment and your contact information to put you on the list.
I have attached a PDF of the poster.
Fee is $40
